About Denos

Born in Athens, Greece, Denos and his parents immigrated to the United States with only $200, limited English, and no friends or family near by. Determined to succeed, the Amarantos family remained close to their faith, focused on their goals and exhibited the perseverance and drive needed to overcome challenges and achieve the highly sought after “American Dream.”  

Denos began in Real Estate in 1992 following his honorable discharge from the United States Air Force.  As a real estate sales agent, Denos worked closely with a wide range of clients, focusing much of his efforts on the challenges facing young first-time buyers.  Denos later pursued his ambitions of becoming a law enforcement officer with the Los Angeles Police Department.  After 26 years of public service, Denos honorably retired from law enforcement, and returned to real estate and his passion of working with clients to fulfill their real estate goals.  

As a police detective, Denos investigated a broad spectrum of crimes and has acquired many critical thinking skills which are directly applicable to a successful real estate career.  He has developed excellent listening and communications skills and has a heartfelt concern for others allowing him to meet his clients needs with compassion while gaining their trust.  As a law enforcement officer, having keen observation skills and the ability to resolve conflicts, while thinking outside the box, are crucial and necessary skills.  Denos’ ability to identify potential issues before they become a problem, while addressing and resolving those issues that may potentially arise, are essential to ensuring his clients have a smooth and stress free real estate transaction.  Denos is detail oriented and meticulous.  When it comes to contracts and disclosures, as with his police reports, his attention to detail will assure that nothing will be overlooked and that his clients best interest will always be his number one priority.     

Denos has built homes from the ground up, and is also a real estate investor.  He owns income producing properties in the southern California area, and has firsthand knowledge of what it takes to own, manage and maintain a multi-unit rental income property, as well as meeting the needs of numerous tenants at once.  His personal background and expertise in income producing investments is invaluable to his clients seeking income property as an investment.  

On a more personal note, Denos is a father of three beautiful and successful adult daughters.  He has been to 17 different countries and counting, and has no intentions of stopping there.  He’s pitched a tent on the Great Wall of China, and trekked through caves and spent the night in the jungles of Vietnam.  Denos has volunteered abroad for a non-profit organization in Uganda, Africa working closely with disabled children, and has volunteered locally at a local hospital as a patient companion.  Denos has even appeared in a motion picture film with some very renowned celebrities.
